Mark is a USMC veteran and long time resident of Joshua Tree, where he enjoys hiking and is a active member of the VFW. Mark is also a drummer and a Mil-Tree board member. He credits the organization for bringing people together, saying the largest reward of participating in Mil-Tree events has been meeting some outstanding individuals. “I have connected with people in this community, the Morongo basin, but also with people from all over Southern California and even further,” he says. “To actually meet people within a mile of my house and to discover they have the same dreams and aspirations is so very exciting.”
